Amaryllis is a 1.5 yr old sweet gal, loves to be with her people, she is active and will need some help with housebreaking since her previous owner kept her in terrible conditions. She is snuggly, playful, loves people, and playing with other dogs. Amaryllis resides at Warwick Animal Shelter and is a participant in Handsome Dan's Rescue's Shelter Dog Enrichment Program. Please contact Amy with any questions at email@example.com.
Ethel is a senior lady with pep in her step! Don’t let her age scare you, she is ready for adventure and warm snuggles afterwards! Ethel makes a great passenger, and hasn’t met a munchkin or puppaccino that she doesn’t love! She loves everyone she meets, and wiggles right up to them. She would do best in a home with older kids, and may be okay with another dog but a meet & greet would need to happen. For questions please contact Rianna at Rlramirez513@gmail.com Ethel is a resident of Pawtucket Shelter
Snuffles is the most snuggly bunny I have ever met. He resides at Pawtucket shelter and we are working with them to figure out his condition by taking him to an exotics specialty vet. We will post more info as we have it. He sneezes a lot and has lots of boogies! We are not sure he knows he is any different from any other bunny, we think it just makes him more endearing. Ah-chooo! For info on Snuffles, please contact Amanda at firstname.lastname@example.org
Mack is a sweet boy who loves to snuggle, and as winter approaches, Mack’s ability to double as a weighted blanket could not come at a better time. He enjoys cozying up to people, taking walks, and cozying up to people. This is not a typo… he’s a boy who knows what he likes ? Mack is a gentleman in the car, and on leash. He’s fond of people and seems relatively disinterested in the other dogs at the shelter. Fast moving objects and sudden loud noises seem to startle him a bit, so a quieter home may work best for Mack. Mack takes treats gently, and knows some basic commands. He’s learning more at weekly Pit Class where he plans to graduate Magna Snacks Laude. If you are interested in adopting Mack, please contact email@example.com To apply to adopt Mack: https://www.handsomedansrescue.org/adoption-application/
Lilly has had a really tough last year and a half, but we can fill you in more on that later. For now, you need to know that she is absolutely perfect. She is potty trained, super well behaved in the house, knows sit, down, stay, and paw, walks relatively well on leash. She met a kitten who she kissed immediately (see photo). Lilly would make a great family dog. She is an adorable mix of lab mix, we think, but she pretty much acts like an affectionate little shadow. She is medium to low energy and wants nothing more to snuggle on the couch. Sadly, when we met Lilly she had a massive tumor on her chest. That was removed and the pathology results told us it was a mast cell tumor, grade two. She had two mast cell tumors removed in 2020, and has a small one on her back right now. Her liver and kidney values are good so there is not reason to suspect she has additional tumors inside of her body. But Lilly will continue to have these mast cell tumors pop up, and they will continue to need to be removed. It's just who she is, it's part of her, but does not define her. Due to this, she will need an adopter with the means and willingness to have any new tumors removed as necessary. Lily needs a fenced in yard. To apply to adopt Lilly, please fill out an application at handsomedansrescue.org. If you have questions about Lily, please email Matt at firstname.lastname@example.org. Seriously, this is one special dog. Don't let her medical needs scare you off. She is beyond worth it!
Nova is a very playful 2 year old gal who loves to run and play ball, but don’t let her fool you, her favorite game is really tug of war. She is dog friendly and would love another active playmate, as she’s a spunky girl. If you don’t have a shadow she’ll definitely be yours and she’s generous with her kisses! Nova loves hot dogs and is very smart; she knows several commands and is a good listener. She’d love to hear what you have to say! She will steal your heart for sure, especially if you love a playful babe whose sole purpose is to make you smile. Questions?
